asah's Wing-Counter Tactic

This tactic is based on the standard Wing-Play and has just a few tweaks in it. It worked pretty well until last beta day. I haven´t checked with full release yet but thought I make it available anyway.

Really import are the corners and opposition instructions. You always have to press anyone on the pitch and tight mark any strikers. Also you should push the opposition wide players on their weaker foot. Please also adjust that immediatly after the opposition made any changes.

I often tweaked the tactic a bit in the beginning or while in matches. (lower engagement line and standard defensive line for example). I feel it works best if your line of engagement is 1 step lower than your defensive line so the space is compressed. Also I often switched the mentality but after 6-7 games I kept it on attacking.

I was pretty successfull with this tactic with a team like SC Freiburg where my best player has been just a "decent Bundesliga player".

The important thing (as always) are that all your players got a 11+ Workrate, Determination & Teamwork and that you got at least a decent pacy striker and 1 or two pacy wingers. Your Fullbacks shouldn´t be the slowest either. It also works with CWB instead of Wingbacks, at least on the left side I often use this (as my second Fullback is a good CWB)

Hope this works well for you, too (even after release).

If I find out that it won´t work after release, I will tweak it and hopefully make it work again.
