This little mod just reduces the hydrogen thruster's fuel consumption by 90%. It doesn't alter the thruster's power. So your ship won't accelerate/break any faster. It will only burn less fuel per second.

Why I made this mod:

Space Engineers isn't designed for my play style. I have a lot of large ships on my private server. In my "lore", leaving a planet is something normal (like in star wars or star citizen), while in vanilla space engineers it is more of a challenge, that you will need tons of fuel for.

So the standard fuel consumption is way to high for me and I had to "fix" it for me. Of course I will always try to build my ships for vanilla servers, so they don't lack the power to lift off on vanilla servers.

I don't know if its an issue or a feature but this mod only seems to apply to the vanilla, core game thrusters only. I have several mods and DLCs that have additional thrusters that do not get this benefit.

What are the chances of this great Mod being updated , Yes its one of the better Mods out there but no updates lately and the Automatons Update screwed me.

Hi Hull, any chance the new Hydrogen thrusters from the dlc can be added to this mod? Our server has been using this mod for years. It has been our go to mod for the hydrogen problem with this game. Anyways we would greatly appreciate it. thanks bro

Scratch my last comment, the mod works fine. The "problem" is when you add the industrial hydro thrusters to a build, since the new thrusters aren't feautured in the mod configuration file they use the stock hydrogen consumption values.
