BoCo

This guy is a diesel engine from Thomas & Friends. BoCo is based on the British Rail Class 28, and his first appearence was way back in 1986, in the Season 2 episode 'The Diseasel'. In this episode, the tank engine twins Bill and Ben thought he stole their trucks, and used the fact they were twins to drive BoCo giddy. Even though he appears to be a bad guy, he actually turns out to be quite nice.

BoCo would become a recuring character until Season 5 in 1998, when he would make his final appearance in the episode Double Teething Troubles, which was also the first and only appearance of Derek, a Class 17 locomotive that was constantly breaking down. Sir Topham Hatt sent Derek to the works for repairs, but he was never seen again after Double Teething Troubles, apart from a very brief cameo in the film Calling All Engines.
