Celtic Coast map theme w names

House of Pain Medical Supplies,. Coalcannon Ltd, Whale Oil Beef Hooked, the Craic House... if puns this awful are your thing, look no further!

Celtic Coast with Names is a temperate version of Celtic Coast original (which is a boreal theme), and it has a full set of custom names. As with most of my themes, the textures, colours, and lighting are made to look fine without any mods, so that anyone can use the theme. If you use mods, you will be able to custom the visuals to a much nicer environment. That is why the screenshots are quite different.

People's names are Irish and Scots Gaelic, which, like Icelandic, have different versions of last names for men than for women. Colossal Order put that function in there, so why not use it :) . (More Celtic language names may be added - 2020)

District names come from across the 7 Celtic Nations, and business names are awfully punny.

If you have any fun ideas to add or have names to add to the list which are from other Celtic nations write in the comments. It is possible to add in more names and send out an update to you all.

Note: terms like Road, Street, Avenue and the last term on the District names (Park, Heights, Valley) are all set separatel by the game, depend on the language you are using for Cities game play, and cannot currently be customized by us theme makers. Example: Padraig Street (I'm unable to change it to Sraid) for English environment, Padraig Straße for German, I'm guessing Rue de Padraig for French... you get the idea.

Update 22.10.2020 Added Scottish Gaelic names, updated cliff texture and gave it matching normal 3D effect. New Oil and Ore textures. Increased lighting slightly. Adjusted shoreline water color.
