The RG-57 "Parma" Light Defense Platform.
IFF ID: (RG-57 LDP)





Named for a lightweight shield used by ancient Greek warriors, the RG-57 Parma is ideal for defense and garrison of mining claims and unarmed stations. Anti-access and area denial systems are a key part of being able to hold territory, and to that ends the Parma is a cheap and rapidly deployable solution. With eight weapon hardpoints, the Parma has full 360 degree coverage of the space around it, and is ideal against fighters, gunships, and light warships. Features include a remote control, laser antenna, station keeping thrusters, survival kit, and connector. Parmas are considered exoendable, and it is common for EHI prospectors to leave several guarding valuable claims months ahead of planned mining operations.

Okay, fully updated to modern spec, added a lot actually. Doubled the turret count, added decoys, improved storage, better armor layout, better optimized power output, internal backup cockpit, internal access, and a survival kit. Enjoy!

Im using it to merge to the side of diomedes. i think the current size is adequate.

No worries, this item is pretty old. I was planning on re-working it into something that fits into the MFS scheme I've been using. If you've been using it, is the current size/block count important or would it work if it was bigger?

I have been using this. I found that the thrusters is damaging the turret.
