Very impressive. Just for info, this is not a cruiser class spaceship but a Nebulon-Q Fregate. Cruiser are more powerfull and big. Rebel Alliance stole some of them to the Empire. In fact this is first an Empire fleet ship built to adapt on hit-and-run fighter strategy of the Rebel Alliance. Rebel Alliance use some of them as an hospital ship as we can see in the film n°5 : The Empire Strike Back. Luc is healed with a bacta tank and is hand replaced by a cybernetic prothesis in the Rebel Alliance hospital fregate Nebulon-Q class.

Hi Guys,you are right on all counts,I like to work just outside the boundaries, I design the ships to be used as you see fit in all sizes and i try to design them all as export this takes longer to put them together but allows me to to change the look and in answer to this being a frigate, its not it is a Cruiser class i have added one of the photos i worked from.

Considering the subtle differences I see here: The two side antennas the longer bottom structure with relatively smaller components, and the relatively tiny side-hangar that's big enough to hold the millenium falcon [The frigate's wasn't, the MF had to dock below the midsection] I think this is meant to be like a battlecruiser-scale remake of the Nebulon.

If i recall the size of this was 300 - 500 meters so this was a frigate of medium to large size vessel rather than a huge one. still love the model but thought i would say that.
