IMPORTANT:
1. Pitch control (W S) is reverted!
-You will need to press W to pull it up. Haven't found a way to fix this without influcing the roll control (Q E). Wierd flying wing issue.

2. Do NOT fly with SAS!
-It is pretty stable without SAS, turning on SAS will only mess it up. You can use SAS while taking off to avoid running off the runway, and turn it off once airborne. This might have something to do with the reverted pitch control, I couldn‘ fix it neither.

Double tap action group 1 to retract ladder and close door. 0 to shut down all engines. Abort (Backspace←) for reverse thrust.

Take-off speed (Vr): 70-80m/s

This is my first working flying wing aircraft with a blended wing body (BWB) design. Intensively tested, good to fly and land, has (in my opinion) satisfying maneuverability for its size. Tend to stably cuise with a slight climbing angle at 120-135m/s in low atmosphere (tested up to 5200m). You can mess up with the small control surfaces (deploy/angle adjustment) while flying, it's kind of fun.

The low speed is caused by using Mk2 parts as "wings", they cause a whole lot of drag. I did this for the look. 4 small turbojets are hidden inside the turbofans to counter this extra drag that shouldn't exist, but apperantly not enough at all.

Cruises stably in 4x fast time, the pilot only needs to slightly adjust yaw/roll from time to time. I tried to make the yaw/roll absolutely stable without SAS but haven't yet succeded.

I am aware that this is not a "pure" flying wing as it has vertical stablizers. But using airbrake-type yaw control would have been much more troublesome, especially for a relatively large aircraft, not to mention that the SAS is not able to handle it. So I lerned from the YB-49 and A.W.52 and gave it the vertical stablizers to make it simple.

The concept is set in an alternative cold war year of 1947, where the threat of anti-aircraft missiles is still distant future. Interceptions rely on radar/searchlight-guided AA guns and fighters.

Thus, this design features:

-Small radar cross-section (RCS) thanks to the smooth flying-wing configuration. Early stealth attempt.
-Thick bottom armor to resist AA gun fire. All important components (engines, intakes ect.) locate on the top side to avoid getting hit. This also contributes to the stealth performance.
-4 retractable defensive turrents with 4x20mm machine cannons to hold off incoming interceptors. Much more effective when in large formations.(I can't make them actually retractble in game)
-Thick wings bringing lots of room and fuel amount. Has 4 bomb bays for considerable payload. (Hard to make such functional in-wing bomb bays, and not all tanks are filled up by defualt. You can fill some up if you need, watch out for the Center of Mass though.)
-4 powerful turbofan engines protected by extended bottom armor plates. 2 wing-tip turbojets also act as auxiliary power unit (APU).
-Holds a crew of 9 (Pilot, copilot, flight engineer, radio operator, bombardier, 4 gunners)

Thanks man! Maybe it's because of the turrents :P

I tried to build a not-so-intimidating civilian (airliner) flying wing by using Mk2 cabins for most of the front wing edge. When the passengers look out of the windows, they look "forward" instead of to the side, which would be quite an experience. But that version is too head-heavy and couldn't fly well XD
