A script with a HUD icon for the short-barreled HK 417.

Type: Flash outline (artwork included)

This addon replaces SCRIPTS (changes the in-game weapon stats)! It only works on a server (i.e. your own or your friend's host) which has this script enabled. That also means that if a server is enforcing consistency, you may get kicked. Disable this mod and restart the game if you have trouble with joining servers.

That also means that you need to subscribe to 1 (one) of the "Required Items" to get the model itself. Do not ignore the window that pops up after you subscribe! If you do, you can find them (the Required Items) to the right of the preview/description/comment section, where the author(s) is(are) credited and the stats are shown.

The script changes are:
  • HUD icon
  • 20 round capacity (def. 40)
  • 600 rounds per minute (def. ~461)
  • 90 damage per shot (def. 58)
  • 180 reserve ammo (def. 360) - sniper ammo
  • VerticalPunch = 2.5 (def. 2.0)
  • SpreadPerShot = 2.0 (def. 1.6)
  • MaxSpread = 40 (def. 35)
  • MinDuckingSpread = 0.25 (def. 0.5)
  • MinStandingSpread = 0.5 (def. 1.0)
  • MinInAirSpread = 4 (def. 3)
  • MaxMovementSpread = 8 (def. 6)

It would be great, actually. A lot of my old HUD icons are made in pretty much the same manner as today's default TLS ones.

In fact, I may or may not make HUDs and scripts separate at some point. I did so for the pistols, but quickly lost interest.

You could get the icon from there and rename it properly, and it will work without a script. You only need the .vtf file and set it in a proper folder.
