D-Von Dudley

描述
One half of the Dudley Boyz, one of the most decorated tag teams in professional wrestling. D-Von is the half-brother (in storyline) of Bubba Ray Dudley, and debuted in ECW in 1996 as an antagonist to the Dudley Family. With a character inspired by Jules Winfeld from Pulp Fiction, D-Von denounced the Dudley Family as a disgrace to the family name, saying that their comedic antics were not how a real Dudley should act. Feuding with Buh Buh Ray for some time, the two eventually joined forces and, together with Big ♥♥♥♥ Dudley, Sign Guy Dudley, and Joel Gertner, became the infamous heel group the Dudley Boyz. Making their names known by defeating the other major tag teams of ECW; and holding the tag titles eight times, they further boosted their reputation thanks to their notorious promo skills. They managed to heckle and insult ECW audiences to a point of near-riot on a regular basis.

Together with Ray, D-Von joined WWF in 1999 as a heel. The two feuded with the Hardy Boyz and Edge and Christian for much of 2000 and 2001 and, while they were known for their violent and callous disregard of women, they eventually turned face later in 2000. The two would once more turn heel in time for the Invasion angle, joining with Shane and Stephanie McMahon's Alliance to fight the loyal WWF stars. After the invasion, the Dudleys were split up as part of the WWE brand split draft. While Bubba Ray kept his old name and gimmick, D-Von became known as Reverend D-Von, a corrupt minister who assisted Vince McMahon as his spiritual advisor. As Reverend D-Von, he introduced the world to Dave Batista, then known as his Deacon; the two would quickly split up, with Batista turning on D-Von in 2002.

Following the experiment in singles competition, the Dudleys would reunite later that year and remain a team through the rest of their time in WWE. Although they had a prominent role in WWE programming leading up to the ECW reunion show, One Night Stand, the Dudleys were among more than a dozen wrestlers released by WWE at once later in the summer of 2005 -- the end result of creative having nothing for them. To make matters worse, WWE owned the rights to the Dudley Boyz gimmick, and received a cease and desist notice denying them the use of their old ring names. As a result, they would go on to be known as Team 3D in TNA Wrestling, New Japan Pro Wrestling, and All Japan Pro Wrestling.

As Team 3D, the pair wrestled as part of TNA's tag division until 2010, when they split up and Brother Ray turned on Brother Devon. The two feuded up until Ray joined Hulk Hogan's mega-stable Immortal. From there, Devon spent most of his time in the midcard, up until 2012, when he seemingly left TNA. He would return as a heel, targeting the now-face Bully Ray and joining up with the motorcycle gang Aces and Eights. He would leave TNA altogether in 2014, and since then has largely retired from active wrestling outside of the occasional Dudley Boyz reunion. He currently works as a backstage producer in WWE. Together with Bubba Ray, D-Von entered WWE's Hall of Fame in 2018.

125 / 380. 4 costumes + CPU Logic. The first two costumes represent his more recent appearances on-screen. The latter two costumes represent his look in WWF and ECW.
