描述
Increases difficulty by adjusting level-scaling and xp-gains.

This mod is for all those that want to be challenged more by the combat encounters in this game.

This mod is updated and working with all DLCs.


- LITE version has been merged into this mod -


WHAT DOES IT DO:
1. Level Scaling
- In vanilla enemies only scale upwards a maximum of 4 levels. If you are level 15 and find a level 5 enemy, he would be scaled up to level 9 but not any further.
- This mod increases the scaling limit to 9. That enemy would now scale up to 15. (not quite this simple with location levels etc but you get the idea)

2. Named Enemies
- Important Named Enemies will now scale an additional 2 levels higher than a normal enemy. Bosses will now be more difficult and challenging.

3. Reduced XP
- Experience from quests and combat has been reduced by 25%. This is not really noticeable at the start but it will help with the over-levelling issue in the lategame.

4. Ship Combat
- Slightly increased enemy ship hull, slightly increased enemy ship damage, very slightly increased enemy ship accuracy, increased Close To Board damage taken.





If late-game you notice that enemies are once again a little too weak/easy even with this mod installed, you can switch the mod out to the HARDCORE version. It has more aggressive scaling and gives other bonuses to the enemies too.

How far into the game do you get access to the highest level skills and spells with this -25% exp penalty? as a percentage if you are doing a completionist run? so like 60% into the game or 80%?

k i'm definitely gonna try it if so, man thx altdy for your work, the difficulty balance of the original game always disappointed me a bit, I'm very curious to try your mod now!
I noticed that there is also another mod of yours which makes it even more difficult, now I'm scared! ! !

@AtreyusNinjaaa yes it's balanced for that. It WILL increase the difficulty of the game (obviously), but not to an impossible degree.

this mod is balanced even for "Path of the Damned" and "Level Scaling" in "all" ?
sry i have to ask cuz i don't wanna find myself in midgame and having to disinstall cuz i find jesus christ in front of me in a random encounter and not be able to kill it, ik the game become rlly ez when u know how to play it even in potd but, i just don't wanna waste my time x'D
