If I remember correctly (I haven't played the game in a while) But yes, the first is right. You use as little or as much of your resources as you want to take down the enemies in the palace. When you leave, that is your day passing.
Let's say i decide to visit the palace, do i stay in the palace until i either used all of my available ressources (or have no other viable option) or do i only get to attack once before needing to advance the day count
I played with the first one (Counting a continuous fight until all ressources are depleted as a single day) and i barely beat the boss with a friend
Also, i would love to expand the game and add a support based character for futaba and maybe even more bosses !!
If multiple shadows are defeated in an single attack instance, and one of the shadows has an "On Death: Remove all x damage on other shadows," does that activate even though the other shadows are also considered defeated?

If it's not "Free" where does it say the cost for it? Or is this bonus temporary?
