Merciless: A Left 4 Dead Parody Campaign

A parody of Left 4 Dead's "No Mercy" campaign, using Hammerwatch's native assets.


I have no artistic skill whatsoever, and thus had no inclination to make my own assets. Still, I hope it's enjoyable.
It's meant to be winnable by a single player, but still fun for many!

Final Version Launch! (8/18/19)
-Areas 4 and 5 have been added to the game!

Update! (1/7/19)
-The long overdue Area 3 has been added to the game!
-Fixed an issue where the car alarm in Area 1 was going off indefinitely
-Per request by friends, added a crawlspace to Area 2 and upped the difficulty of the "generator" encounter also in that Area

Update! (10/21/18)
-Area 2 has been added to the game! Enjoy!


Patch! (10/6/18)
-fixed a problem where players could move through walls in Area 1
-prep work for Area 2 (coming this month)

The fourth and fifth parts are finally done, and all parts are uploaded! Thanks for your patience. I hope it was worth the wait!

Still planning to finish the map. Sorry for taking so long. I've been lacking motivation and had a number of mental health things to work through. I'm feeling mostly better now and I'll get to work on the last couple areas.

I'm afraid I'm going to have to postpone the project for now. The people I was working with to make this have kind of disappeared. I'll wait just a bit longer, but rest assured the final areas will be done very soon.

I apologize for the delay for the fourth and fifth areas, things are kind of crazy right now with the move and work. I'll be working on them this weekend and that should wrap this project up. After that, I have plans to make a roguelike using this game's engine. I have some cool ideas for that.

I owe you all an apology, between buying a new house, the holidays, and finishing touches on my book, this project keeps getting pushed back. I will get part three finished as soon as possible, but I can't give an official time of release just yet.
