Tenacity: Less Hard CC

描述
Knockdown, Stunned, and Frozen no longer end a character's turn, but are still very debilitating.

Knockdown (renamed Staggered, no longer completely knocks a target down)
-50% dodge
-50% movement speed
-25% accuracy
-25% damage
-15% physical resistance
-2 AP max
-2 AP start
-2 AP recovery

Stunned
+25% Earth resistance
-25% Air resistance
-25% Water resistance
-25% dodge
-4 AP Maximum
-1 AP Start
-1 AP Recovery

Frozen
-35% water resistance
-10% air resistance
-50% dodge
-100% movement speed
-3 AP maximum
-2 AP start
-2 AP Recovery

Petrified
-Remains a full stun, but it increases all damage resistances by 50%.


Hard CC is just way too common and easy to apply. Now Petrified, Terrified, Charmed, and Sleeping are the primary hard CC, but much less common or come with downsides. I may change how Terrified and Charmed work in particular as well.

This will be both less irritating as a player, where you still have some options when CC'd, and makes enemies harder to put completely down, and thus more dangerous.

I have not changed other factors, like the number of skills that apply or remove these effects, so relative balance from vanilla could be very different. So try at your own discretion. This also can be removed if you dislike it, however.

This mod seems to be impossible to remove from the game. This causes freezes on loading when going to new area.

Only way I was able to resolve this issue was by:
1) enabling this mod in main menu
2) creating a new save with this mod enabled
3) disabling this mod
4) continuing game from this new save

Just in case someone else has this issue...

I m happy to find this add on // I had only one critic for the fight gaming : AOE hard CC.

I will restart game with this add on ! I hope more tatical fights.

The mod is not showing up in my mod list in main menu and I have restarted my game

Updated to remove chill aura, and made it so stuns won't stack with themselves. Should work alright now.

@Namble is there any update to this? i think this would be very fun :) could you try by simply removing the aoe chill effect? i would stilll very much enjoy this mod!!

Update: I tried to create a mod similar by changing knockdown into a "CONSUME" status(Stat down effect), and had the same issue with the effect applying multiple times per use. Seems like it might be a script issue.

Unfortunatley this mod seems to cause multiple stuns(they all stack) to happen for every stun, and chill will constantly try to apply to characters near frozen targets which causes the game the crash.

So I forgot to mention that Frozen also reduces AP. I updated the description with the full stats change.

Right now just based on description I think your interpretation of Frozen allows too much upper-body mobility for someone who's sort of encased in ice. It sounds like it's basically Webbed. My suggestion basically shoots for "you can barely move, but still, you can move."

Although I'm not sure about that interpretation of Frozen. I guess you're fuzed to the ground, but can still move your limbs? I think something possibly more... satisfactory for the visual effect, perhaps, would be to make it reduce your movespeed by 90% and reduce your damage by some significant quantity (at least 50% if not more). As well as reducing your dodging by 100% as before. And.. maybe reduce AP regeneration by 1ap on top of all that.
