Picard Patch Compatible

Its a clock.

I got tired of not knowing what time of day it was on Mars.
It uses the same mechanism as the Game Sol Indicator so it is lightweight using almost no resources.

This game, like almost all games like it, use a 'sol' both as a day AND a martian year. So that's why peeps last for about 80 sols max. As a martian year is 687 earth days, that's actually very unusually long (though in my games normally the 'live long and prosper' tech is researched before people start dying of old age)
And I think the game actually does put the extra 37 minutes in the day, but I'd have to check again.

yeah i figured. they should just change it from sol to year it would make everything make sense . like the rockets 12 hours from earth to mars not bad

Vern, Sorry I do not. I dont think that would be possible either since the time mechanic is used for just about everything.
