Hey all, introducing the modern version of the Phoenix Class Assault Frigate, while this does not change much from the original design it does feature several upgrades like a more integrated weapon systems. PDC’s(Vulcan Turrets) have been added to act as an Anti-Missile system so the ship is protected as well as three 40mm turrets to add that extra punch.

Overall, the design is the same but has simply been updated for that “Modern” Space Engineers approach. Again, these ships are created for cinematic purposes and only feature of handful of Survival features.

Survival Ready? - Yes, but i would NOT recommend it. Hydrogen systems can be weird haha.

Subject: - New Frigate Class

Following the recent border skirmishes and last years decommissioning of the Heavy Frigate class, i’ve put in the request to the Engineering division to accelerate the launch of the new Phoenix class.

Taking inspiration from the Relaint’s command systems and her upgrades from the original wars, the Phoenix can operate on her own or apart of a Battle group. The ship can also escort other vessels and work in tight defense formations. I would recommend we place a few of these in the 3rd fleet to assist the RWI Osiris in her command operations.

We’ll also start to overhaul the other frigates designs in order to rebuild the Navy overall.
