(Note this only changes the l4d1 infected using a population mix mod)

we have another problem i have the population mix installed but it only has l4d1 and l4d2

I know what the problem is. You wanted a mod with l4d1 only spawning right?
This one just adds the realistic common l4d1 infected but you can use it with other l4d2 packs and would still need a population mix mod.
