Go to the C-Drive workshop folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\704230.
Find the mod folder that is being used for the women's game. In the folder, there are at least these two databases:
1) "OfficialRelease" (this is the 2019 calendar game)
2) "OfficialRelease2018_09082018". (this is the latest 2018 calendar game)
Before you start a new 2018 game, change the titles of these two files with the following edits:
1) Change "OfficialRelease" to the new name "OfficialRelease 2019"
2) Change "OfficialRelease2018_09082018" to the new name "OfficialRelease"
Now, any new Career, Pro Rider, or one-off race will start with the 2018 db, races, teams, and rosters. Thanks again for your patience.
This approach is good because it's easy to get it right, doesn't take any extra space, and uses the latest updates. The downsides to this approach is that you would need to use a PCM db editor.
Then use one of the following fixes. It's important that you use just one of these fixes. I like the second approach and tested it to make sure it works. The first approach should work too:
First Approach: In folder \steamapps\workshop\content\704230, create a copy of the game folder “1487313592“ and rename the new copy that you made to "1432545112".
This approach is good because it's easy. The downsides are that it will take more disk space and that Steam could delete your new mod folder.
