Not sure if I understand your question, but if you are using turret hardpoint blocks, and you place a turret on that hardpoint (turret hardpoint must be size 3) with this design assigned to the hardpoint, it will appear as the turret. Hope that helps, and thanks!

Can you command these into your own game? If a noob question, I apologize. I'm picking up this game a bit late now, but been looking at lots of things and reading etc. Can't always find the answers, but also wanted to add, love the designs and TY for your hard work! This also goes to Black_Disciple for what I've seen of his as well. Good damn stuff!
