i know your way of colouring it has worked for others but i cant seem to find materials, i right clicked the model and click add override materials and went to element viewer, but i cant find anything labeled "materials" i can give a screenshot if you want

right click on model > add override materials
go to element viewer
click the + sign beside materials
click on any of the parts you want to paint, a block of color should appear beside the panel
click said block of color and a color picker window will pop up
