Light Survival Warp Fighter. (Class 1 SV)

Primary roles: Light combat, Warp Drive, Inexpensive, Utility, Unlocks at player level 10

The Merc-MX2W is a warp drive variant of the Merc-MX2. Fitting the warp drive did take some space and this has less capacity vs the MX2 in cargo, oxygen, and fuel storage and does not have interior cockpit access. However it still has a full range of survival comforts as was as an air tight back room. One last factor was to make sure the player does not get radiation and heat damage being so close to the warp core. To protect against this a glass and metal bar wall was built in front of the warp core. It also has an alternative paint scheme.

Features:

1. Most all survival comforts closed off in air tight back room
2. Warp Drive
3. Fairly good speed and maneuverability
4. 6 Gattling guns and 4 additional weapon mount points
5. Unlocks at player level 10
6. Inexpensive
7. 2 Constructors, 4 Large cargo boxes, 2 Ammo Boxes
8. 2 Fridges, Armor Locker
9. O2 and O2 station
10. Automatic doors, lights, and ramp
11. Switchable spot lights and blinking lights (Running lights)
12. Light on fuel use
13. Detector

I had the same problem as the comment directly below, it was running at ~tier 3 CPU usage but is only tier 1, the generator started to blow up right away. I am thinking there have been updates to the game since this was made so that it no longer works with the vanilla version at least. Not sure about RE/RE2.

I made it at the factory and when I turn it on it says the generator is overloaded, what can I do?

Hi Jeff, this was our (my friends and I) most favorite and most used runabout ship. We last played in 2019 and we need to get updated on all the changes / additions to the game. Is there any chance this will ever get updated? I love this ship for all its features and very compact size and amazing design / style. I have no idea what changes would need to happen, but the ship still seems to work. We are all hoping for an update, but if there is an alternative, that would be nice too. Cheers!

Thank you fgtank. I been trying to get some creations updated. The MX2W however I was not planing on updating. The MX2 was updated a lot, but the W version was not. The big difference is the warp drive and space and CPU needed for that since the standard version was overhauled. I also have issues with CPU on all the largest Mercs being the MX12H, MX14, MX15, and MX18. But more ships with be updated over time to A12, but I will say I do prefer building new ships with all the new parts, flight model, etc being planned for in the design. Thanks again!

Jrandall, thank you for all your hard work on the ships and bases. You have truly made the game fun because of your creations. I know you must be super busy but I wanted to ask a favor. Please update some of your older creations for weight and cpu. I love this ship for example and many of your ships no longer work because of the game update. I really love your Merc SVs for example and your starter CVs
