OLD DESCRIPTION:

This is a version of St0neD's "High Res. Human Skin For Common Infected" that can be found here: https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=121905453

I take no credit for the original mod. I AM NOT A MODDER, so please do not leave disparaging remarks. All I did was save people some new time by implementing the fix that Buttery Stancakes posted on the original mod in order to save people time.

Here's Buttery Stancakes' post:
"Actually, the solution is much simpler than it seemed to be. The reason behind the black checkerboard is a typo in common_infected_shared.vmt, where the normal map should say "flat_normal" it's actually written as "flaf_normal". Very easy fix, just open up 121905453.vpk and correct the typo. After that, you should be good to go."

you tried thats all that matters but... i think its best to just remove the color change for the l4d1 commons and only affect the l4d2 models

@Henry Pekit @GMoneyYo This mod has not been updated for The Last Stand update (2020), which explains the neon/fluorescent clothes you’re seeing. Use the Realistic Common Infected (2020 proof) mod instead of this mod.

HEADS UP. The CommonMale_02 shows up with a florecent blue or green sweater + arms. Took me forever to track it back to this mod.

Used to be a nice mod, bunt since the last update, it causes glowing neon coloration on some of the l4d1 infected.
