INTRUDER III Escort Carrier (modless)

Twenty years after the presentation of the INTRUDER II the designers released a new Escort Carrier which should replace the old and smaller Escort Carriers. The INTRUDER III (INT 3) is the final product of their development. The ships armor is a mixture of Light and Heavy Armor Metall sheeting. Unlike the INTRUDER I, II this Carrier is able of interplanetary use and it´s also equipped with an jump drive. The carrier has enough transport cababielities one rover/ fighter hangar at the back, one rover drop bay at the front and one drone/ fighter hangar in the middle. The armanment of the ship contains four rocket launchers (salvo script) at the bow, two rocket turrets, four Gatling turrets and sixteen interiour turrets as Anti Missile Defense. The carrier normally uses the STARFOX Aeronautics Dart Fighter but its able to use other Fighters or crafts!

This craft is the final one of the Intruder series its inspiration is from modern aircraft carriers and from the other Intruder models.

Recommended Use of Hangars:

FRONT DROP BAY:
It is designed for drop freight or a rover to a planets surface, for this task I have build a timer which
activates the drop sequence. But because the connector is placed at the top of the room it can also
store a fighter or a drone.
MIDDLE HANGAR:
It is designed to store the craft more protected from attacks. I would also use it for repair and build
more crafts because you have acess to the refinery and assembler from the hangar and
it is equipped with five connectors.
REAR ROVER BAY:
This bay is designed for holding a rover because of the ramp at the back and the connector at the wall. But because of the top hangar door it can be also used to transport larger crafts like a drop ship
or a heavy fighter.

Battle tactics :

This ship is relativly well armed and capable of fight for its own especially with a fighter squadron, but you should always face the bow to the enemy because most weapons are placed at the front. The ships bow and stern have no vital systems stored in it so you can use it for ramming enemy ships. You should also know that your bottom armor is relativly weak so you should´nt expose it to enemy fire. The sides are acceptable armored but the flight deck can take most of the damage.
