[Abandoned] - Life, work and a loss of interest in FCE in 2022 stopped me continuing work on this mod. I'd forgotten about it until a recent comment and have now appropriately marked it as abandoned. If you played this, regardless of whether you liked it, I thank you for trying one of my crazy creations.

Description below

Unbalancing Box of Bits is a FortressCraft Evolved mod with the goal of adding more machines and items that make some sense within the design of the game.
However.

This mod will also include unbalancing and potentially compatibility breaking changes. One of these changes are converting Minecarts to be stackable, See Compatibility notes.

It is safe to add this mod to an existing save, But, Do not remove this mod from an existing save otherwise you will risk corrupting your save.
Please be aware that I do not guarantee 100% compatibility with other mods, Again, See Compatibility notes.

Recommended Game Version : Patch 22 or Later. Earlier versions do not include the custom Freezon Cooling Pad model.

Changes
* Research Station now has a blue texture like it originally did. I feel the blue varient looks nice.
** Patreons wearing the Tuxedo Skin will get a custom black texture.

Compatibility Notes
The following machines are replaced with modded versions
* Blast Furnace - Needs changes to recogise modified CCB.
* Continous Casting Basin - Additional logic is required for the Freezon Cooling Pad.
* Research Station - Additional logic for texture control.
* Minecarts have been made stackable.
** Single stack items like boosters and carts can safely convert to stackable, but converting back leaves you with a single item.
** There may be run on corruptive effects when trying to convert back, For safety, do not remove the mod after adding.

Notes for other modders.
This mod includes my 'Display Cabnet' machine, which lets you view spawmableobjects ingame as they would appear if you spawned in the object without any additional texture loading.
Use a mod like Mad Vandal's Developer Cheats to spawn it in, controls are on the machine's text popup.

Oof, getting sick sucks. You take it easy and heal then.
If you don't find anything, just let me know with any tips you can think of for what might be unfinished and I'll see what I can do.

I don't think do. I did a full system rebuild late 23 with all new drives and didn't keep the old ones. It wasn't in my documents where VS 2015 /17 liked to dump everything, so I don't think the chances of finding it are very high. I'll do some digging later after and see if i put it on github or bitbucket, but its probably a lost cause.

I'll message here if I find anything. Though it might be a few days or a week, I'm actually recovering from a chest infection since xmas. It's not horrible now, but its still exhausting doing anything.

Unfortunate, but I understand. Do you still have a copy of the pre-build VS files though? I might be able to get some help to make some fixes to what this should be doing.

I'll be honest, I totally forgot about this mod. I lost interest with FCE back in 22 and with work and everything going on in my life, never really thought about this again.

I think I intended them to require bays, But I honestly cant remember anymore. Frankly im amazed

I'll go ahead and mark this mod and ModdersGearbox as abandoned.

The habitable room doesn't appear to detect place plants that aren't in a hydroponic bay. Had 25 fully grown mangradoras make seeds and it still said no plants.
