Simpleton

Simpleton was an unexpected team to arrive to earlier anti-gravity leagues in the 2090s, but it is unknown when or where the company was established. There were rumors that they founded in the US but migrated to Mexico as a civil war erupted in the US regarding economic affairs.
They've brought out mass produced fleets of their Model 1 in 2092 to try and obtain a profit from the new tech, despite safety violations the craft had when tested.
Following an incident where the director and lead pilot Nick Yenbad was hospitalized when a Hunter missile had destroyed his craft, Simpleton formed a partnership with Dreamtecht, who had little interest in anti-gravity beforehand, recalling much of the Model 1s to integrate improved chassis and shields that can keep the ships in production.
The Model 2 improved upon the original, getting a boost in shields and speed, though becoming a bit more drifty. Though it didn't sell well as the original, it was praised for its use of hydrogen fuel cells instead of ion emissions.
By the SR-A league, they founded themselves as a solid team after heavy funding from several small companies sponsoring them at the time. They had a new craft designed to take care of the complaints from their pilots regarding the camera views the Models 1 and 2 used to maintain the minimalist design of the two ships.
The F-72 takes Simpleton's iconic agility to the extreme, so much that the airbrakes are rendered useless from where they were put. (Although reverse thrusters are used to stop the craft when needed.)
Though in 2140, forming another partnership with Triton Customizations, the AEC have taken note of their new developments and signed their own death warrant when they raided Simpleton's production facilities to halt the manufacturing of a special version of their F-72 model.
Though having some wacky adventures, Simpleton had finally stabilized and regularly partakes in the SR-A League, but is considering to create a Gaiden-class craft to take on the likes of Dreamtecht, Crypto, and many more.
