In XCOMRPG.ini (inside steamapps\workshop\content\268500\1491778957\Config)
I searched all LW2WotC_ and erased.
For example: I turned LW2WotC_AreaSuppression into AreaSuppression. etc.
(I also did that in XComPromotionUIMod.ini but idk if it was needed)
Now the specialization appears with ALL its perks. Finally I can get AreaSuppression on a custom gunner!
Since I'm currently not using either mod and since RPGO doesn't officially support LWOTC, I'm not really interested in making/publishing/supporting an LWOTC version. It shouldn't be too hard though and you're free to do so yourself. If you need any pointers, feel free to ping me on the XCOM 2 modding discord.
LWOTC changes a bunch of the perks from those in the original LW2 that this one references.
Using LW2 Classes and Perks basically slots them in, but then also leads to weird overrides that mod enforces since it's a class pack with a similar code structure to LWOTC's refs, rather than a pure standalone perk pack.
So if you squint hard it works okay, but certainly isn't seamless.
"Slug Shot - Trench Gun - Combat Rush - Killer Instinct - Extra Conditioning - Combat Fitness - Street Sweeper"
with Killer Instinct + Extra Conditioning replacing Fortify and Formidable
which isn't great since the former two perks rely on Run and Gun, which isn't provided by the skill tree. Anybody have an idea of the cause?
