The Soviet Navy has now commissioned a new Delta-class strategic submarine and has been able to launch a nuclear attack on the US mainland without breaking NATO's SOSUS.NATO submarines will try to inspect the presence of a new Soviet submarine.Defeat the NATO submarines that entered the strategic patrol zone.

I managed an 800 point major victory, sinking four subs. Most things worked out well. The background for the scenario might need fleshing out as I wasn't too clear what was intended or why sorry. The use of nuclear weapons was stated to be allowed but the saved scenario I don't think actually does allow them. With them to be fair the Russian side probably has a relatively easy time of it mind. Without its tricky at times as NATO submarines are better armed and better sensors. Also wondered about weather as I think the sea state is a flat calm. it probably complicates targettign more with higher seas and lower sonar ranges resulting.
