if the model doesn't work go to your bms folder for black mesa and make a new folder called "custom" then put the vpk and vpk.sound.cache files in there and it should work.

if you dont know where your workshop folder is just subscribe to the mod go to the drive u installed black mesa then steamlibrary>steamapps>workshop>content>362890 and you should find the 2 files there. example: D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\workshop\content\362890. hope this helps

The sound works and the model reskin wasn't initially, but then randomly started working when I loaded up my current save for Lambda Complex. Dunno why it didn't work for most of this playthru.

How can I find the .vpk files for this gun? I looked all over the internet and haven't found anything. Even the drop box link is dead?

Is there a way I can keep this model without the sound replacement?

When I have another skin of the player, I put my finger inside the MP5 XD ... Please fix it.

I refuse to take this off. Should've been the default model.
