great level but it seems during the fight with Izban it glitches letting you leave without fully killing him

The latter.

The crossbow is in the console version. It only has 2 bolts, but those bolts are very strong and can be reused.

The crossbow in the pc version has 4 or 5 shots, is weaker, has bolts that you can't pick up, and crashes the game when you fall.

As for a guide... Maybe I'll do one? Would it be worth it? Hm.

Even if I couldn't complete it (at least at the time of writing the comment), I'm interested - is the crossbow an easter egg or you added it through some kind of modification of the map file? (if the answer is 2nd one, then make a tutorial, please)

Either way, would like to hear back. Awesome level.
