[CW2.0] M60

The M60, officially the United States Machine Gun, Caliber 7.62 mm, M60, is a family of American general-purpose machine guns firing 7.62×51mm NATO cartridges from a disintegrating belt of M13 links. There are several types of ammunition approved for use in the M60, including ball, tracer, and armor-piercing rounds. Introduced in 1957, it has served with every branch of the U.S. military and still serves with the armed forces of other states. Its manufacture and continued upgrade for military and commercial purchase continues into the 21st century, although it has been replaced or supplemented in most roles by other designs, most notably the M240 machine gun in U.S. service.

To start off, this M60 was not actually ported by me. It was ported by AronMcZimmerMan from the game Black Ops 1. I came across his pack a long while ago, and wanted to make them more realistic. I've removed all camos, removed some sights I feel weren't appropriate for the environment, removed a lot of unnecessary content to make the pack smaller, and made some changes to damage and recoil. If the recoil feels a bit too harsh, I'll change it up a bit. I will also try and keep this pack updated regularly if any issues come up.

Will try and add bi-pod in later updates.

If the author has any complaints or questions to ask me, simply just add me on Steam and we can talk this out. I do not claim to have made the entirety of this, I have simply removed some extra content as well as made some changes to make the weapon more specific and realistic. I don't make content for money and simply do this for fun or to help some of my friends who wants specific guns w/o having to download so much.
