After being restore from Quan Chi's dark magic, Hanzo set out to restore the Shirai Ryu in order to help better protect Earthrealm. He soon learn the truth of who actually killed his family soo long ago, it was none other than Quan Chi. It was the man that cursed Hanzo with hellfire and vegeance running in his veins and the one who caused him to destroy countless lives for Quan Chi's personal gain.
In raged by this Hanzo vowed to hunt down the murderer and make him pay for his crime with blood.
