This turned out better than I initially expected. I may end up recycling the hexagonal base for other MEC turret designs down the line. I have gone ahead and scaled this turret all the way up to size 4, as Avorion allows you to automatically scale oversized turrets down to smaller mounts, but does not offer this option for scaling up.
