Roddy Piper

"Rowdy" Roddy Piper was equally skilled in the ring and on the microphone, and is considered by many to be one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all-time.

Piper made his way to the WWF in 1984, and was part of the first WrestleMania's main event, teaming with Paul Orndorff against the team of Hulk Hogan and Mr. T. Piper and Hogan were rivals throughout their careers, feuding in both WCW and WWF.

While he never captured a world title, Hot Rod did win the Intercontinental Championship at the 1992 Royal Rumble and held the belt until losing it to Bret Hart at WrestleMania VIII.

Outside the ring, Piper excelled as the host of Piper's Pit, his own interview segment, that produced several memorable moments including Piper cracking a coconut on Jimmy Snuka's skull. Piper occasionally managed wrestlers as well, including Orndorff, Dr. D. David Schultz, Virgil, and Sean O'Haire.

As an actor, Piper starred in John Carpenter's They Live, in addition to having several other lead roles in the 80's and early 90's.

Piper was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2005.
