No changes to the gameplay (number of Specials, etc.) have been made, aside from the difficulty now being Expert.

Yeah, that's my bad. Unlike Versus, apparently Survival's difficulty is hardcoded and cannot be changed with console variables. So the only way is to manually adjust damage values/etc. with code, and I am in fact currently working on a revamp.
