Blue Time Rift: The Balloon (Ver 1.0)

描述
My first Rift is based around the balloon bouncing mechanic. I wanted to follow the 4 step level design as outlined by Mark Brown from GMTK:


1 - introduce and teach a mechanic (the balloons) in a safe way

2 - develop the mechanic

3 - add a twist

4 - conclusion


I wanted to make a level that feels like it belongs in the main game, with the right amount of length, challenge and fun movement. Let me know if it worked!


You'll need the Dweller Mask and the Grappling Hook to complete this Rift.

game crash and a window named message pop up(dint look at the window name,but it lookt like the window message)

I recooked it myself to play. Overall it's just basic balloon jumping, but it's decent if someone's new to the game I guess.

This mod is broken on the latest update. It throws an error and crashes the game. Seems like it needs to be recompiled.

sorry to post another comment but! i messed arounda lot with the ballons and somehow managed to gain enough speed to collect the time piece...i feel like the problem mainly lies in the jumps you do, either one jump/double can affect your momentum going up the rest of the stack and ultimately how much momentum you gain from the balloons isnt very consistent because of that.

i actually had to fall down from the top and ride the stack half way up again to be able to grab the time piece so maybe if anymore people have this trouble lower the time piece just a smidge to give us some leeway, otherwise everything else in the level is fine! :)

just tried this level for the first time and i seem to be having the same problem as afterglow and gacelorra! the time piece seems to be juuuust out of reach and no matter how hard i tried i just couldnt reach it...

Same as Gacelorra, I can't jump high enough to reach the time piece.

this is really good! but somehow im not able to gain enough height with the ballons at the end to get the time piece, i think im doing something wrong. Still, really nice
