I try to use the [Secular] trait, which adjust the appeal of the materialist ethic by +35%. However, after finishing the gene editing and researching the changes in the situation log, it will show that the trait selected is only adjusting by +15%.
I haven't found any reason for it, so if anyone can help, I'd appreciate it.
But yes, I am fairly sure.
So for 1 point, I can either have my POPs research Sociology better and be more into Materialism, or I can drop the research point bonus and have them be slightly more than twice as strongly into Materialism.
Means I'm still skeptical that these Traits are worth taking. Because as I said, there's nothing magical about hitting 100% worth of bonus positive Ethics Attraction, as it'll be counter-acted by penalties from other sources.
