The Arquitens-Class Crusier from Star Wars. A midgame ship useful for escorting larger ships or patroling sectors. There are various places you can put turrets around the ship. Can be customized as needed. Stats are in the screenshots.

Info
The Arquitens-class light cruiser, also known as the Jedi light cruiser or Republic light cruiser and later the Imperial light cruiser, was a line of light cruisers designed by Kuat Drive Yards. A later variant was the Arquitens-class command cruiser. Read more @Wookieepedia[starwars.wikia.com]

one trick, and I'm not saying that is what he did, is to build things 4 or 8 times larger then shrink them down. Thats what I do on my builds.
