Arkgnein State: Swash Privateer

The Swash was reclaimed from a scrapped bluprint from the drawing boards of Arkgneisis military RnD,originally slated to take the role that would be subsequently filled by the Defender, before it was decided that the ship's capabilities wouldn't meet with established goals.

After having much of the military hardware stripped from the bluprint, and the frame itself cut down to drive down the price point as low as possible. As well as its military grade weapons replaced with cheaper alternatives. The swash quickly went on to become one of the most common civilian warships in the outer solar system.

Typically employed by private companies and mercenaries, (As with this example flying the colors of the Scattered Security PMC) The Swash's main gun is long ranged, but modest and inaccurate. Combined with the incomplete coverage of its armor belt, and the vessel is only truely effective ton for ton against pirates, and other similarly underequipped foes.
