Bandits Retreat [Free Build]

描述
A beautiful Free Build map.

The old forest path runs along rivers, mountains, and the ruins of old fortresses. Now it has become a haven for bandits and highwaymen, ransacking travellers and putting a halt to local commerce. Build a new kingdom and bring peace back to this lawless stretch of land!

There are a few bandits protecting the large iron and stone vein nearest your castle, and some pesky archers in the old watchtowers. You can elimate them at your leisure, they only prevent peasants from exploring the map if you build on the farther resources. A slight amount of pressure comes from the bandit camp, but some monks and your faithful knight have embarked on this journey with you. They should offer your town some protection.

Map update:
- Removed some water and bumpy terrain near your kingdom [More space to build!]
- Minor tweaks to placement of bandit camp and some resources for playability.
- Added more sounds for immersion!

I love this map! it looks great, but could i reccommend moving the bandit camps away from the towers, the archers there tend to kill most of them, and the ones that get to me are one arrow away from being destroyed, and maybe spreading 1-3 more camps through out the land, which would add more bandit raids?

I quite liked this map, having the pressure of the outlaws and the watchtowers was a good influence on my approach to free-building, and it was fun afterwards to launce a siege against the tower emplacements. Not much to do afterwards, but that's the nature of the mode I suppose. Aesthetically I found this map to be very pleasing, with a few interesting eye-candy pieces. I give it a solid 8/10.
