I totally agree that Concrete has a high durability with regard to taking weapon fire.
with the downside being it weighs a LOT!
in fact, small arms fire like NATO 5.56 ammunition won't do squat other than splatter against a Concrete wall.
Concrete is also quite good against energy based weapons given it's crystalline structure and makeup.
perfect for Ground bases, or Space Stations stuck on Asteroids.
not so good on ships except as Ballast for Naval/Marine watercraft with the Water Mod.
I'm desperate for a way to use all of the gravel you wind up with in the new progression changes - reaping hundreds of cubic meters of stone to strip mine down 100m for the only Cobalt I can find, and I can't get there without cheating (destroying spare Gravel by exploiting that it's a game) because A) No cobalt for Metal Grids, B) No storage without metal grids.
