Arkgnein State: Champion Heavy Cruiser

The backbone of the Arkgnein fleet, the Champion is a quintesential modern warship: heavily armored, heavily armed, and nuclear capable.

With its thick armor belt, the Champion can absorb massive ammounts of damage from all types of ordinance short of strategic nukes, keeping most of its essential components safely shielded behind its armor as its twin Lances bore through a given target at range.

Though some within the middle echelons of Arkgnein command will tout that the Gladiator is more cost effective than the Champion in direct combat, the latters posession of strategic nukes gives the scope of its mission profile a much wider berth.
