OBOW: Pronounced "oboe" (yes, like the instrument), it stands for "Overseer's Balance Overhaul for Weapons".

This is the last of three scripts I've made that turns a vanilla shotgun into a double barrel one. This one is for the Pumpshotgun. I REPEAT: THE PUMPSHOTGUN. This is the only of the three that is NOT for the Combat Shotgun (SPAS-12). I strongly recommend using a double barrel skin that matches.

This one is the most unique of all three, styled after DOOM's Super Shotgun. BE AWARE. This weapon only has a 1-round magazine to simulate how DOOMs signature weapon functions. thus, in classic Super Shotgun style, you will need to reload after EVERY shot. This gun combines the piercing factor of my long-barreled double shotgun with my sawed-off's wide spread (but even wider), allowing a level of single-shot horde-ripping that's second only to the Grenade Launcher. It will kill any Special, even a Charger in one shot, and will take a sizeable chunk out of any single, large target such as Tanks or Witches. The big downside to all this power is the constant reloads. I'd been tinkering with the idea for a while, but completed it at the request of "ShadowX & Falerin" and "The Pungeon Master". These three mods are a tribute to them.

NOTE: I'm not sure why, but reload speeds are unchangeable with shotguns, so I'm afraid I can't make reloads faster or slower. Still, it's not bad as-is. Enjoy!

ReloadDuration - 0.473 to 0.396 (Changing this does nothing, not sure why)
DeployDuration - ? to 0.35 (Vanilla value unknown, since I had to add this line)
PenetrationNumLayers - 2 to 9
PenetrationPower - 30 to 95
PenetrationMaxDistance - 500 to 3000
Damage - 25 to 66
Range - 3000 to 5500
RangeModifier - 0.7 to UNCHANGED
Bullets - 10 to 15
CycleTime - 0.5 to UNCHANGED (Changing this does nothing, not sure why)
clip_size - 8 to 1
primary_ammo - AMMO_TYPE_SHOTGUN to AMMO_TYPE_AUTOSHOTGUN

Sorry, I have no plans on doing that. Having two identical mods seems redundant. However, there are other double barrel mods on the workshop, like this one:

Unfortunately I'm not going to be of any help with that. The easiest way to find it is by searching "double barrel" on the Workshop, then narrow the search by ticking the "Shotgun" filter. There's a ton of skins available.

hello, is it possible to have this one as a secondary that shoots 2 bullets, since chrome shotgun already does the same thing

No worries, we were all new at some point. :)

The short answer, no. Scripts don't work online. The reason for this is that the host's scripts are the ones that'll take priority. So if you host a match and others join you, your scripts will load and not theirs. To avoid weird little bugs, it's best to ensure everyone you play with uses the same scripts as you. My brother joined me without my scripts, and his Pumpshotgun kept trying to reload more than it could, because his default game scripts told him his weapon's magazine size was X, while my mod reduced that. It's just a visual glitch, a split-second wobble before returning to normal, but it can be a little jarring.

Also I'm not sure, but I think you will get kicked from online servers unless you untick any and all scripts in your in-game Addons menu that you may have installed. Hope this helps. :)
