Galaxy Class "USS Enterprise" NCC 1701-D

The USS Enterprise, flagship of starfleet, the most advanced ship developed at the time of its launch. This tech was mostly just built for aesthetic appeal, there's not enough space (that I can find) to create lift and still have room for maneuvering thrusters. However, this tech does have a key characteristic from the Enterprise D in TNG that makes it worthwhile. The Enterprise D was a deep space exploration vessel, and therefore had many families on board. This meant that taking the ship into battle was dangerous. Yet since battle was sometimes inevitable, Starfleet came up with a compromise. The Enterprise D was equipped with a "Battle Bridge" which was located in the neck pylon. The command crew could transfer there, and then the saucer section could seperate from the ship, functioning as an independant vessle. When Pikard knew he would be entering a battle, he could transfer control to the battle bridge and then seperate the two ships, in order to keep the families on board safe. I was able to replicate this feature on this tech; press x and the saucer section will lift away. Unfortunately, as I said, there isn't really any steering. Still looks pretty cool though.
