Roosevelt River Valley

描述
About this map:

Roosevelt River Valley is a fictional map. It is 100% handmade and features a central river. A smaller river feeds into the main river near the ege of the map. A few lakes dot the boarders of the 25-tile area. Near the river, the land is predominantly flat with elevation rises as you move closer to the edges of the map. Heavily wooded hills and rock outcroppings are featured as potential Nature Park sites. This map is extremely flexible and can be used for large cities or smaller villages.

Features n' Notes:
- Map is designed to be used with 81 tile unlock. Playable using 25 tiles or standard 9 tile setup
- 4 highway connections; 3 rail
- Main highways are 2-lanes each direction. There is a national highway connecting the main highways as well as leading to two detailed "features" on the map.
- Starting square has access to river and rail
- no shipping lanes in this map
- 2 air routes
- forestry, agricultre, ore, and oil all present with heavy emphasis on forestry
- water flow has been considered and the river flows with strength across the map. One lake bordering the 25-tile area has drainage for potential sewage disposal.

- I have included the following mods in the "required" list to the right, but that is only to achieve the look I have presented in the thumnails. PLEASE NOTE THE SETTINGS OF THE VISUAL MODS:

When I put down roads and zoning the rocks/boulders and bushes stay there and don't get removed. Very annoying having to manually bulldoze that stuff., never seen that before on a map.:steamsad:

@Kdog379 I don't know--maybe Kentucky or something? Somewhere reltaively hilly with a large enough river going through it--I was originally gonna have a much less hilly map, but a recent trip to Colorado changed all that, ha, so it's really a hybrid of like the Mississippi river valley with some "Mountain" influences.

my roads are light, is there a mod that makes them darker like your photos?
