The game crashes because the game has to add up the blood particles (e.g. from hunter pounces) for every polygon on the model. Since the model has too many polygons, then the game has a hard time processing each polygon, which would eventually lead to game crashes. To fix this issue, lower down your shader settings or get some better hardware.
