[WOTC Only] Move End Interrupt Fix

描述
Fix a behaviour where if a unit with a move end ability is unable to use the ability midway through the movement, it gets the action points refunded, this fix makes it so the unit will continue the movement path and whiff the ability in the end while still costing the initial AP. This should prevent stun lancers that got set on fire on their middle of the melee to get a free shot.

Killing or stunning the moving unit will end their movement as usual.

Compability:
Overrides BuildNewGameStateFn and BuildInterruptGameStateFn of all affected abilities in the config file.

Is there a mod that could fix those freezes?

@syro: i get those freezes every once in awhile. if you look really closely the animations are still happening, just in super slo mo. if you leave the game running for a bit (5mins?), they complete and normal playability returns

that's an entire problem with the game dealing with animations, those hard freezes happen when 2 animations are waiting for each other to finish so nothing ever gets done.

I encountered a weird bug where the assassin walked into a proxy mine while invisible (she was moving in to sword one of my soldiers) and the game froze.
Not a hard freeze, I was able to open the pause menu and reload the auto save for the turn, but still annoying.

Any idea if that could fall under the same kind of problem this mod fixes, or is it something else entirely?

The author of this and Faceoff Ammo Fix commented over on the other mod:

"No [they don't conflict], faceoff is not a move end ability, therefore the other mod does not conflict with this."

Ihaven't tried it out yet but does it? "Faceoff Ammor Fix" says "Modifies BuildNewGameStateFn and BuildVisualizationFn of 'Faceoff'", and this mod says "Overrides BuildNewGameStateFn and BuildInterruptGameStateFn of all affected abilities in the config file."

The Faceoff ability isn't specified in XComMovePatch.ini, unless I'm blind, so the way I'm reading things is that they don't conflict...

Have you tried them out in game?

It conflicts with [WOTC] Faceoff Ammo Fix mod, which is a shame.

I wish there is a way of you adding the function of that mod or vicecersa.
