ttt_bafford_manor is my homage to the classic '90s game Thief: The Dark Project. I have always found simplistic graphics and low poly counts to have a really special charm, and love attempting to recapture that time-period in creations for more modern engines with some artistic liberties and new ideas.

This map is still a WIP, and should receive updates in the future pending player feedback and whether or not I have time to do so. There's certainly a few ideas and easter eggs I'm planning on adding in future versions, and I have quite a few ideas for adding in innocent and traitor objectives to make the map more interactable.

It should be noted that this map is massive, and that is with me including only the manor itself and none of the outside areas or expansive cave/underground parts of the level from the original game. However, I have included now (and may adjust after some playtesting and feedback) some game logic that only opens up the basement section of the map if there are 22 or more players on the server. While I am not normally a fan of restrictions in my maps, I feel that this one is necessary given the size of the map already, and the fact that including the basement may make the map rather unplayable with smaller playercounts. Hopefully this is a good compromise for now.

I also have some fears about the rather confusing nature of the map which is a product of the endless complex maze-like level design of the time the original was created in. I may end up adding signs over the doors or something similar to help players navigate the map, but we'll see. I am certainly aware of how confusing and dark the map tends to be, but I did want a rather faithful recreation.

- Fully armed for up to 32 players
- Entirely filled with custom content, from sounds to materials to models
-Dynamic level design that seals or opens part of the map depending on server playercount
- Nostalgia for those who grew up playing
