Known as Trent Barreta in WWE and Trent? on the indy circuit, Beretta currently competes for NJPW, PWG, and ROH.

After spending a few years in WWE developmental, Beretta (then working as Trent Barreta) joined the ECW roster along with Caylen Croft as The Dudebusters. Croft was released within the next year, and Beretta became a singles competitor and eventually moved to NXT.

After leaving WWE, Beretta found success as part of the Roppongi Vice tag team with Rocky Romero as well as the Chaos stable. Romero and Beretta won the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championships on four occasions between 2015-2017.
