Perhaps I can finally upload this mod and the submods to GitHub for all to see. Earlier has been clueless about where the source files at because I migrated between computers before.
On another thought, since now I am getting busy with real life, perhaps you may unpack the mod via the X Catalog Tool by yourself instead to have a look inside the mod.
Sorry to have raised any false hopes.
Now that you mentioned it, I am thinking of putting the source code to GitHub so everyone could have a look at what is going on
But, as a warning, the way I approached this problem is to directly remove them from the game, so they are never rendered. Changing this to only remove 50% of the fog will require some effort (and I am not sure which value/values to adjust to achieve the 50% effect, there seems to be two of them)
Just so you know, I have unlocked the thread you have started, because your claim of this mod's incompatibility with Erloschene Hoffnung is still unresolved. (Still, I strongly advise against starting discussions that contain two main ideas.) I will look into potential incompatibilites as I develop the relevant Remove Fog mod later.
I can confirm: those files aladinaleks you have mentioned do exist in the latest version of the mod. After I have changed the algorithms, those files were not supposed to exist, but because of my forgetfulness, I have left those files as-is while I upload the V1.1.
This will be fixed in the next version, V1.11.
While it is the mod author's responsibility to ensure the accuracy of the mod files, in this case, I do not have the CAT files locally on my computer, so I was not able to confirm what the actual contents on the Workshop really is at any given time. So while you are justified that I did not do my job, I am justified that I did.
There is no reason to argue the responsibility of this incident any further. Let us de-escalate this.
Maybe you wanted to update, but updated the old one. It is not necessary to consider himself the most correct. Your task is to check all the possibilities. Or do not do anything.
If you have opened their mod, be so kind as to have patience.
