@LeoMeisseli Hm about stairs i am thinking long time, but i dont this is the correct way. Maybe just simple stair pattern and with elevation you can control height.

Just had this wild idea... What if these curbs were a liitle wider, say 0.5 m. Then you could create some neat staircases stacking them with the ParallelToolMod.
