The three guns I used can be find early in the game. Upgraded them properly, these weapons can do large amount of damage. In most cases fully upgraded guns can one shot most normal monsters you face in the game.

It is recommend by me to use keyboard and mouse over a controller when playing the game. You will have better accuracy and reaction speed. Using keyboard and mouse prevent needless waste of ammo and herbs. Only once did I lack ammo and that because the mission I was in started me with low ammo (Parker mission 11).

A normal PC356 don’t do much damage but a fully upgraded can one shot a lot of normal monsters. It better than the M9 because it have two more extra upgrade slot. The two extra upgrade slot will help the weapon more than you realize.

2 Short Burst

A fully charged shot with 2 short burst is devastating. Damaged wise it will one shot most normal monsters. Saving you a ton of ammo from your other weapons. Pistol ammo are the most common ammo found in the game.

With that said it is recommended you ditch the PC356 and use the magnum pistol for the last boss. In all other cases the PC356 should be your main pistol.

The Windham is the go to run and gun weapon. This is where it shine the most. Windham is the weapon I used to kill the last boss. It did the majority of the damage to the final boss and the killing blow.

The scatter upgrade is the most important of the three. It does 1536 total damage if all the pellets connects.

A fully upgrade M40A1 will one shot the vast majority of non-boss in the game. It is better than the Magnum because ammo are easier to find and you can carry more. My fully upgrade M40A1 does 1980 damage per shot. The M40A1 also piece. That means you can kill more than one monsters with one shot. Seriously this is the best weapon in the game and you can find it early on.

The M40A1 is my main weapon in mid to late game. Rifle ammo is not rare like Magnum and I can carry a lot. Having the ability to one shot most monsters conserve my ammo on other weapons platform.

Fire Rate is the most important of the upgrades. It allows you to get faster shots. The M40A1 main drawback is it can’t run and gun like the shotgun. As a stationary weapon it will clean house. You will kill most non-boss with one shot. In some cases you can kill mini-bosses with one shot. Two at most with a fully upgraded M40A1.
